Boutonne is a tributary of Charente river located in the North of Charente Maritime département. It is long about 80 km and crosses the towns of Dampierre, Saint-Jean d'Angély and Tonnay. It is not far from bigger towns of Saintes and Rochefort.
La boutonne, excellent lieu de pêche pour les charentais, entre autres :)Il fait bon sortir en balade le long de la rivière.
